Marc Wegener is a graduate of Western Michigan University (B.S. in biological sciences) with more than nine years of experience in both chemistry and molecular biology labs. From 2013 to 2018, he worked at the Northwest Genomics Center at the University of Washington. During this time, he lead the team responsible for operation and maintenance of the Genome Center’s fleet of Illumina sequencers, including MiSeq, NextSeq, HiSeq and NovaSeq platforms. Marc joined the Institute’s Genomics Core in May 2018.
